About

Who We Are

We nurture ambition. We empower community. We help students reach their educational potential.

Founded in 2009, the Columbia International Scholarship Endowment Fund was established to advance education by: promoting and recognizing student achievement, providing financial assistance, and supporting educational initiatives in the community. The foundation is a registered charity that is operated independently of Columbia International College and administered by a volunteer Board of Directors.

At the foundation, youth and community are at the heart of our mission. We believe in the power and potential of youth to make a difference in the world and the students at Columbia International College (CIC) are no exception. CIC students are continuously inspired to give back to their communities with many individuals exceeding their required 40 hours of community service. In 2018, CIC students contributed more than 72,000 total hours helping at local school events, urban gardening to end food poverty, building solar-powered radios for South Sudan, collecting donations for food drives, picking up garbage and more. With over 1700 students from 70 countries at CIC, we continuously look for ways to enrich our local community and are proud to encourage these diverse, young achievers to believe in themselves and follow their ambitions.

By giving to the Columbia International Scholarship Endowment Fund, you are instilling confidence and hope for students to believe in themselves.
